For your first session, please arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to complete the intake forms I’ve emailed to you. When you arrive, there is a waiting area where you will find a place to sit and relax while waiting for your session. Our first few times together will be similar to the beginning of any relationship and will involve us getting to know one another as therapist and client. At this point, you will be encouraged to introduce me to the stories of your life: at your own pace, level, and depth. Primarily, the hope will be for me to learn what brought you to counseling at this time and what you are hoping to find from our time together. You will also be invited to ask me questions that you may have for me.
