I grew up in Southern California where I cultivated a love for both the mountains and the ocean. I began my college career at San Diego State University, but I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling from Moody University in Chicago, Illinois. After working in an outpatient treatment center, I moved to Seattle, Washington to begin graduate school. While working on my degree, I was the director and head counselor at the House of Hope, a homeless shelter for women and children. I worked with women through issues of trauma, identity development, and personal growth. I received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Psychology and completed a one year counseling internship at Asian Counseling and Referral Services. The years following my time in Seattle, I’ve been a Licensed Therapist in private practice in the city of Los Angeles.

I live in Los Angeles, California where I cherish time spent with friends and family. I enjoy the arts, both creating it myself and being inspired by the work of others. I spend my free time reading, going to the beach and having good conversations over many shared meals.
